Boxing at Takeover Fitness
Get in the best shape of your life with an intense total-body workout based on the training regimen of some of the most highly-conditioned athletes in the world – boxers.
Takeover Fitness’ boxing classes focus on improving speed, strength, explosiveness, power, reflexes, mental toughness and more, while simultaneously maximizing calorie burn to increase lean muscle mass. It’s the perfect cross-training workout for athletes of all levels looking to add variety, intensity and fun to their fitness program.
Offered on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., each challenging class combines fundamental boxing techniques (both heavy bag work and shadow-boxing) with running, burpees, squats and other functional movements, helping to increase stamina and cardiovascular endurance while also strengthening muscles and improving coordination. Our experienced coaches demonstrate proper technique and provide instruction and motivation throughout each heart-pumping session.
